Low Volts, by Sean McMullen
Captured in sepia tones, this image is a raw portrayal of Tim Lowman, the one-man force behind Low Volts, immersed in his element. Known for his fuzzed-out, dirty blues-rock n' soul performances, Lowman is seen here on the iconic 'Low Volts' branded kick drum, symbolizing the unique sound that has earned Low Volts three San Diego Music Awards. The solitary figure atop the drum alludes to Lowman's one-man band setup, where he single-handedly delivers a "shock to the heart" of the music world with his old slide guitar, thunderous kickdrum, and howling vocals. This image is a story of musical dedication, of one artist's commitment to craft, and the legacy of a great-grandfather's influence, creating a powerful lineage of sound and soul. It's a snapshot of authenticity, a tribute to the raw, electrifying experience of a Low Volts performance, perfect for anyone drawn to the soulful depths of modern blues-rock.

About Artist:
Sean Nicholas McMullen is a music & fine art photographer based in San Diego, Albuquerque, & Oaxaca. In his third decade behind the lens he'd be hard-pressed to forecast too much about where or when he'll be traveling, but his musical/artistic home is forever the The Casbah, where he continues to explore the ethereal connection between people and the music that drives them.
